The WEIZE electric jack kit includes a removable foot pad, a 3/8-inch safety lock pin, and a manual crank handle, as well as three 3/8-inch star washers. The required tools for installation include a 9/16-inch wrench, a torque wrench, wire cutters, wire strippers, and crimpers or a soldering iron.

To install the jack, users should first attach it to the trailer using three bolts (grade 5, 3/8-inch-16 UNC bolts with washers and nuts, or 3/8-inch-16 self-tapping bolts) and place the star washers between the flat washers and the mounting plate, as shown in Figure. The star washers are designed to penetrate through the paint on the mounting plate, ensuring direct metal-to-metal contact. The bolts should be tightened to 15-20 ft-lb.

If a lower support plate is not already present, users should install one in the bottom of the trailer frame. To operate the jack, users should first park the trailer on a level surface and block all dolly and trailer tires. They should then attach the foot using the 3/8-inch safety lock pin provided, disconnect the jack from the power source, remove the rubber access cover on the top of the jack, and insert the manual crank handle into the access hole, engaging the drive screw. Rotating the manual crank handle counter-clockwise will extend the jack, while rotating it clockwise will retract it.
